Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School | Manchester 📍 Manchester | 🗓️ Start: September 2025 | 💼 Full-Time | 🧠 Pastoral & Academic Support | 💡 Ideal for ex-police, military, or public service professionals Are you passionate about helping young people make positive choices and reach their potential? We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our vibrant, inclusive secondary school community in Manchester. This is more than a pastoral support role—it’s about building trust, guiding behaviour, and making a real difference in the lives of students who need it most. 🔑 What you’ll do: Work 1:1 and in small groups with students needing behaviour or emotional support Support academic engagement through structured tutoring and mentoring Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, boundaries, and resilience De-escalate conflict and help students re-engage with learning Liaise with teaching staff and external agencies to ensure joined-up support✅ Ideal candidate: Ex-police officer, military personnel, youth worker, or similar with transferable skills Strong presence and ability to build positive relationships with young people Confident supporting learning and managing behaviour in a school environment Calm, consistent, and solution-focused Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and unlocking potential🎯 Why this role?
