Behaviour Support Specialist - Thanet Area
Full-Time | £88.94 - £100 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is currently partnering with a number of specialist and inclusive schools across the Thanet area, looking for dedicated Behaviour Support Specialists to work with pupils who face barriers to learning due to behavioural or emotional challenges.
The Opportunity:
Offer one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex behavioural issues.
Help implement behaviour intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques in collaboration with school staff.
Build trusted relationships with pupils to support both academic and emotional development.
Receive continuous professional development with access to specialist training and accredited CPD to enhance your skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Prior experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour or special educational needs, ideally within a school or care environment.
Calm, resilient and adaptable - able to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Formal qualifications (e.g. TA Level 2/3) are a bonus but not essential.
Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Child-only DBS registered on the update service.
Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Driving license and access to own vehicle is beneficial but not essential. You would be expected to be able to travel around the Thanet and surrounding areas
