Behaviour Support Manager – Immediate Start – Secondary Schools in Newport
Location: Newport, South Wales
Position: Behaviour Support Manager
Start Date: ASAP (Continuing into September 2025)
Pay: £110 – £115 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Manager, you will:
Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
Distribute and oversee completion of pre-set work.
Promote positive behaviour and handle behavioural challenges using proven strategies.
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams.

Essential Requirements:
Enhanced Child-Only DBS (Teaching Personnel can assist with this)
EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration
Two professional references covering the past 24 months
Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential – full training and support provided
