We are looking for Behaviour Support Workers to join our team and support our young people in schools around Bradford who require extra support to regulate their behaviours and emotions and ensure they feel safe in an environment where they can learn and flourish.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping our young people break barriers and who will be able to identify when the children need extra support whether that's with their learning or emotional/ wellbeing support
The ideal candidate will be:

Have an understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health and have a willingness to learn and adapt teaching and supporting styles
*
Be patient, resilient and empathetic to students’ individual needs
*
Experience of working with children and young adults as either a Youth Worker, Residential Support Worker, a Sports Coach or within an education setting would be advantageous
*
People with lived experience are also welcomed and encouraged to apply
*
An up-to-date DBS that is on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to undertake a new one)
*
Proof of Safeguarding at a minimum of Level 1 (or be willing to undergo online training)
