Behaviour Support Worker - Oldham: Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced behaviour support worker to join a large provision in the Oldham area. You will be supporting pupils aged 4-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role: Providing 1:1 mentoring and pastoral support to students Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents and other staff members Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Using de-escalation and positive reinforcement techniques to support progressPosition Details: Position: Behaviour Support Worker Location: Oldham Type of Work: Temporary Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time only Minimum Rate of Pay: £105 per day, depending on experience Start date: Sept 2025 End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (in schools/youth work settings) A calm, patient and empathetic approach Team Teach training is highly desirable Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional referencesOther If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
