Role Overview As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils aged 11–16 with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or challenging behaviour. Work 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Implement behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches. Support classroom learning, encourage participation, and ensure pupils remain engaged. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to monitor progress and report concerns. Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can succeed.
