Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant - September 2025 Start Location: Lewisham, South East London Pay: £95 - £115 per day Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract Type: Term-Time Only (Long-Term/Temp to Perm) Start Date: September 2025 Are you a patient, resilient, and passionate Teaching Assistant looking to support children with behavioural needs? A supportive and inclusive school in Lewisham is seeking a full-time Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who may present challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with their learning and develop positive relationships in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Implementing behaviour management strategies set by the school SENCO and class teacher Supporting pupils in and outside of the classroom Assisting with personal care when required Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children with behavioural needs or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Be calm, caring, and adaptable to the needs of each child Be comfortable providing personal care where necessary Be available full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one) What We Offer: A rewarding role making a genuine difference in pupils' lives Ongoing support and professional development Competitive daily pay: £95 - £115 per day A welcoming, well-resourced school with a strong staff team
