Job Description
JRS Associates have partnered up with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Bench Hand/Assembler for their weekday day shift team. This is a great opportunity to join a company offering long-term stability and a supportive working environment.
The Succesful Bench Hand / Assembler - Package:
*
£14.86 per hour (£35,854.21 per annum)
*
Shift - 46.40 Hours Weekday Day Shift – 06.00 - 18.00 Monday - Thursday
*
4-day week – long weekends every week!
*
25 days holiday + bank holidays
*

The Succesful Bench Hand / Assembler – Role Accountabilities:
*
Skilled use of de-burring techniques including blending and polishing
*
Proficient operation of air tools and fly presses, including clocking fixtures, vices, and angle plates
*
Use of hand assembly techniques to complete precision work
*
Inspecting finished work using Verniers, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, and Gauges
*
Performing Vibro Etch, Stamping, Inkjet Part Mark, and Dot Peening to apply component identification markings
*
Working to standard operating procedures and production timelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
The Succesful Bench Hand / Assembler – Person Specification:

Conscientious and methodical approach to work
*
Confident using hand tools and manual equipment
*
Experienced working to production schedules and company documentation
*
Detail-oriented, accurate, and quality-driven
*
Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
