About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bench Hand Joiner to join my clients woodworking team. The successful candidate will assist in the production and assembly of high-quality timber products, ensuring precision and attention to detail on the workshop bench.
Key Responsibilities
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Prepare materials for production, including sanding, planing, and fitting
Maintain a clean and organised workbench and workshop area
Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Previous experience as a bench hand or in a similar joinery role preferred
Basic understanding of woodworking tools and machinery
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work
Willingness to learn and develop joinery skills
