Job Description
We are delighted to be recruiting for our client based in Peterlee who require a Bench Hand Joiner to become part of their existing team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants a better work/life balance with a 4 day working week but yet still earning a full-time wage.
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 6.00am-4.30pm. This vacancy is temporary leading to permanent for the right candidate.
Duties of the role include;
* Operating various cutting saws including band saws and panel cutting tools
* Using hand tools such as drills, nail guns and airtools
* Working to specific measurements given in the brief
* Quality checking products for defects and imperfections
* Setting up and running various machine cutting equipment
* Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines with in the workshop
* Working to targets to make sure production objectives have been met
Experience Required:
* Suitable candidates will have experience in operating wood cutting equipment such as beam saws and panel saws
