Bench Hand Joiner
Location: Leicester
Salary: £14.50 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) + overtime available
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday finish 1:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for skilled or semi-skilled Bench Hand Joiners to join a busy manufacturing team in Leicester. The role focuses predominantly on door production, working within a well-established workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out bench joinery work, primarily focusing on the production of doors.
Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
Read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality work.
Work to precise measurements and standards of finish.
Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in line with H&S regulations.
Contribute to team productivity while taking pride in craftsmanship.Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, Cabinet Maker, or similar woodworking role.
Competent in the use of woodworking machinery and both power/hand tools.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
Semi-skilled candidates with relevant workshop experience will also be considered.
Willingness to learn new techniques and develop further within the role.Benefits
