Job Title: Bench Joiner (Permanent Position)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per year

Role Overview:
As a Bench Joiner, you will play a key role in creating bespoke scenic pieces and set designs for live events. You will work in our well-equipped workshop, collaborating with designers and other trades to bring creative concepts to life with precision and expertise.
Responsibilities:

Manufacture and assemble high-quality joinery pieces and set elements from wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials.

Work from detailed technical drawings and specifications to produce custom designs.
*
Ensure all items are built to the highest standards, meeting safety and aesthetic requirements for live events.
*
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
*
Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and production schedules.
*
Problem-solve and adapt designs on the fly when necessary to meet production needs.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, ideally in the live events, theatre, or scenic industry.
*
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and tools.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
*
Experience with set construction and bespoke design for live events is highly desirable.
