Walker & Sloan are working closely with a well-established and growing joinery business based in Bristol. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, they’re now looking to expand their in-house team with the addition of a skilled Bench Joiner.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that delivers high-quality, bespoke joinery solutions across both commercial and residential sectors. The role is based in a modern, fully equipped workshop with a strong focus on craftsmanship, quality, and sustainability.
The Role:
As a Bench Joiner, you’ll be responsible for producing bespoke joinery items to the highest standards. Working from technical drawings, you’ll bring designs to life using a range of tools, machinery, and materials, contributing to a variety of custom-built projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing a wide range of bespoke joinery products from technical drawings.
*
Operating workshop machinery and hand tools with precision.
*
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
*
Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
*
Ensuring high standards of finish and craftsmanship throughout.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop setting.
*
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and joinery methods.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
*
NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, City & Guilds Advanced Craft, or equivalent.
*
A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship.
