Bench Joiner
Location: Bildeston, Suffolk (workshop based)
Hours: Full-time — approx. 41.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a busy and highly skilled workshop team. The successful candidate will play an important role in producing high-quality bespoke joinery for a wide range of projects, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards and within set deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret working drawings and cutting lists accurately
* Carry out bench joinery tasks to a precise finish, meeting tight tolerances
* Work to production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
* Maintain clear communication on job progress and any issues
* Ensure all workmanship is consistent with strict quality standards
About You
* Proven background as a Bench Joiner or Carpenter
* Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about craftsmanship
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
* Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
