We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team in Flitwick. The ideal candidate will have a previous experience working as a Bench Joiner. Additional, in-house training will be given to competent time served candidates to support continued development and success in the role.
Duties to include but not limited to
* Assembly of joinery and cabinetry related items
* Ensuring items are finished, sanded, prepared and collated for the next department in line. For example, the spray shop or goods out all via the joinery manager
* Own hand tools essential including cordless drills
* Working flexibly across departments, including occasional support in the machine shop or other areas and duties as needed. This is not always required but does give variation and new experience into the role
Key Skills and Requirements
* Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and production information
* Ability to use wood machines would be a benefit but not necessarily essential
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
