Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a skilled Bench Technician to join our client’s dynamic workshop team in Walsall🔧
Our client specialises in hydraulic tooling and mechanical systems, supplying high-performance equipment across industries including oil & gas, transport, utilities, and manufacturing.
Their reputation for precision and reliability has earned the trust of global partners in engineering, logistics, and infrastructure.
Salary: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble, operate, and test hydraulic equipment including hoses, sub-assemblies, tensioners, pumps, and accessories
* Pick and pack hydraulic tensioners and components when required
* Work from technical drawings to build various hydraulic tools
* Operate forklift trucks and perform slinging and rigging tasks
* Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
* Use handheld and power tools in a physical workshop environment
* Follow MRP systems and workshop procedures
What We’re Looking For:
* Understanding of hydraulic systems and safety risks
* Ability to use test equipment safely and accurately
* Basic computer skills and willingness to learn
* Physically fit, proactive, and passionate about progression
* Good listener with strong initiative and attention to detail
* Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop settings
* Forklift and slinging/rigging licences (preferred but not essential)
