Bid Coordinator
Purpose of the Role
The Bid Coordinator will support the full lifecycle of bids, ensuring that all submissions are delivered on time, are high-quality, and meet client and internal standards. This role is central to the coordination of stakeholder input, the management of bid documentation, and the upkeep of key content libraries.
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Location: Warrington

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the bid process from expression of interest through to submission and clarification phases.
Set up and manage new opportunities in internal systems.
Review enquiry documents for completeness and flag discrepancies or missing information.
Prepare and format proposal templates and ensure SharePoint is up-to-date with all relevant documents and correspondence.
Communicate with clients to provide updates on bid progress.
Request and collate third-party pricing.
Support the wider Bid Team in developing and submitting high-quality proposals.
Track bid timelines and deadlines using bid management tools.
Book in new orders and ensure proper handover to delivery teams.
Collaborate with internal departments (estimating, engineering, legal, etc.) to source information and content.
Ensure bids comply with both client specifications and internal processes.
Participate in post-bid reviews and lessons learned sessions.
Assist with vendor questionnaires and pre-qualification documents.
Maintain bid content libraries, including case studies and standard responses.
Keep estimating databases up to date with current supplier information.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential Skills
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Excellent written English with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple bids and meet strict deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
Desirable Experience
Prior experience in a bid/tender coordination or similar role.
Familiarity with bid processes in engineering, construction, or technical services sectors.
Comfortable communicating at all levels, both internally and externally.
Additional Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence.
Willingness to participate in performance reviews and ongoing training.
Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-focused.
