Bid Manager

Location: Northampton (Office-based/Hybrid considered)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bid Manager to join a growing and well-established company specialising in commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of being a bid manager managing the tender process from start to finish, producing high-quality submissions, and contributing to the continued growth of a successful business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission.
Review tender documentation and identify key requirements.
Prepare, coordinate, and submit compelling, compliant bid proposals.
Liaise with estimating, commercial, operations, and design teams to gather technical information.
Ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Maintain and develop a library of bid content and supporting documentation.
Monitor tender opportunities and manage bid pipelines.
Attend internal meetings to coordinate bid strategies and improve win rates.
Support post-tender interviews and client presentations where required.
Bid Manager or similar experience

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bid Manager, Bid Coordinator, or Tender Manager.
Experience within the construction, interior fit-out, refurbishment, or related sectors is highly desirable.
Excellent written communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously while working to tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with online tender portals.
