Job Description
Are you a strategic and detail-oriented Bid Manager looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage the complete bid lifecycle – from pre-qualification through to final submission and project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate the preparation and delivery of high-quality, competitive bids
* Interpret client requirements (ITTs, RFPs) and translate them into clear action plans
* Develop bid strategies in collaboration with Business Development and Sales teams
* Manage inputs from internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Write persuasive and tailored bid content and presentations
* Track and manage bid budgets, timelines, and risks
* Support the Sales-to-Project transition on successful bids
Requirements:
* Degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline
* Strong knowledge of bid processes, pricing models, and risk management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ability to manage multiple bids to tight deadlines
* Experience interpreting technical documents and drawings
Desirable:
* Previous experience as a Bid Manager, Tender Manager, or Proposals Engineer
* Familiarity with airport, baggage handling, or material handling sectors
* Understanding of commercial contracts and procurement practices
