SF Recruitment are working with a global business based in Birmingham City Centre who are looking for a Bid Support Executive to join them.
Salary: £35,000-£42,000
Working pattern: hybrid (will also consider part time applicants)
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director with business development and bid activities, including supporting work required for client meetings and presentations, collating skeleton content for tender submissions, working with the CRM platform, supporting research and administrative tasks and working with the Director to evolve marketing and communications content and the library for bids, pitches, and tenders. This is a hands-on role and we are looking for a collaborative approach, creative design skills and strong ability to work with "virtual" teams and independently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the business teams in their formal and informal pitching activities, and presentations and providing guidance on best practice.
- Collate draft content for Director(s) to further shape based on client and market insights. Create visually appealing and impactful PowerPoint presentations for both client proposals and internal meetings.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to ensure content aligns with client needs and strategic objectives, remains on-brand for and is relevant/ bespoke to each client.
- Be part of core support team for major proposals or presentations, joining meetings with colleagues to review content and update as needed.
- Continuously improve presentation templates and materials to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Work with the Director to continually evolve the content library for bids, pitches, and tenders.
- Ensure all materials are well-organised, easily accessible, and regularly updated.
- Gather and organise existing information to create baseline tender submissions which can then be further shaped by respective Director(s).
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to ensure content aligns with client needs and strategic objectives, remains on-brand and is relevant/ bespoke to each client.
- Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and tailored to meet the specific requirements of each tender.
- Work closely with any other required departments to obtain necessary information, certificates and insights.
- Conduct market research required by Director into specific clients or sectors, from existing sources or data within relevant platforms, or web-based research.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries to support business development strategies and decision-making.
- Provide some administrative support, including scheduling meetings, updating Salesforce CRM platform and organising documentation.
- Assist in the coordination of some partnership activities and initiatives - small events or attendance at hosted events
