Bid Writer (Adult Education) £50,000 – £55,000 Remote | Full-time, Permanent Do you have a passion for writing persuasive, high-impact bids that drive funding for skills and employability programmes? This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Bid Writer to help secure contracts that empower people to upskill, retrain, and progress into meaningful employment. With continued growth in the Employability and Skills sector, they deliver innovative training funded through the Adult Skills Fund (ASF), Skills Bootcamps, and AEB, helping learners and employers adapt to the evolving world of work. The Role As a Bid Writer, you’ll take the lead in developing high-quality, persuasive proposals that win funding and partnerships across employability and adult learning. Working collaboratively with senior leaders and operational teams, you will: * Research, assess, and track funding opportunities across Employability, Skills, and Adult Learning. * Write and submit compelling bids across ASF, Skills Bootcamps, AEB, and related government-funded programmes. * Use data, outcomes, and success stories to strengthen submissions. * Ensure bids are compliant, accurate, and delivered to deadline. * Collaborate with stakeholders to design impactful delivery models. * Build and maintain strong relationships with funding partners and key stakeholders. About You Proven experience writing successful bids within Employability, Skills, or Adult Learning. * Strong understanding of ASF, Skills Bootcamps, AEB, and related funding frameworks. * Excellent writing, research, and communication skills. * The ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines. * A proactive, detail-focused, and collaborative approach to work.
