Reporting to the Project Director and Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for managing and producing high-quality written submissions for tenders that reflect the Maris brand. This role suits someone with strong writing ability, excellent organisation and an eye for design.What You’ll Be Doing🖋️ Managing the full bid process from opportunity identification to submission📄 Writing, editing, and proofreading engaging and persuasive bid content🤝 Working closely with Design, Operations, and Commercial teams to gather project information📚 Developing and maintaining a central library of case studies and standard responses🎨 Ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, and visually on-brand🔍 Researching client requirements, scoring criteria, and feedback to improve bid quality and consistency📢 Supporting the creation of marketing and client-facing materials when required⏱️ Meeting tight deadlines and maintaining consistent quality across all submissionsWhat We’re Looking For✅ Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail✅ Minimum of three years’ experience in bid writing, coordination or graphic design, ideally within construction✅ Confident using InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite✅ Degree-level education in English, Communications, or a related subject✅ Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple bids✅ Creative, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaborativelyWhy Join Us?🌴 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Christmas period off, and every last working Friday off each month with pay day☕ On-site coffee shop – free breakfast, tea, coffee, and fresh fruit throughout the day💰 Salary sacrifice pension scheme – Maris Contracts contributes 15% savings to your pension🛡️ Life assurance – 3x salary after 12 months’ service🏥 Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 online GP service plus mental, financial and physical wellbeing supportBefore You Apply
