Role: Travel Agent (French & English Speaking)
Location: Hybrid - Head Office based in Canary Wharf, London. 3 days in office per week. Initial training delivered fully onsite.
Salary/Rate: £12.30 per hour + benefits
Commission: Uncapped commission structure based on sales performance, paid monthly. On-target earnings of approximately £5,000 per annum. (Commission is non-contractual and subject to change.)
Reports to: Team Manager
Progression Opportunities: The role is on a temporary to permanent basis.
Hours: 40 hours per week, scheduled between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Travel Agent to join a multilingual customer service and sales team supporting a European holiday provider. The successful candidate will be fluent in both French and English and passionate about delivering excellent customer service while driving sales. The role involves handling inbound calls, assisting with bookings, and providing support via live chat.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound calls for both sales and customer service
Process service requests using internal systems
Identify customer needs and generate sales
Amend, cancel, or confirm existing bookings
Provide outbound support during peak periods
Upsell additional services and extended stays
Assist customers via live chat with product and booking queries
Perform other reasonable duties as required
Key Competencies
Fluent in French and English
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High attention to detail and multitasking ability
Previous experience in customer service or sales (Essential)
Understanding of contact centre KPIs and practices (Preferred)
