Overview:
Our client, a leading general contractor/engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of a high-profile Data Centre project in Frankfurt. This is a critical role within the project team, ensuring that BIM standards and workflows are followed from design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all BIM-related activities across design and construction teams.
Manage federated models and ensure alignment with project requirements and LOD standards.
Liaise with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to resolve model clashes and inconsistencies.
Support the integration of BIM with other project management tools and systems.
Conduct regular model audits and quality checks using tools like Navisworks and Solibri.
Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and issue resolution workflows.
Assist in 4D sequencing and digital construction planning.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of BIM protocols and processes (based on ISO 19650 or client standards).
Provide technical support and training to project stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role on large-scale construction projects.
Previous experience working on mission-critical facilities (data centres, pharma, etc.) is strongly preferred.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC; knowledge of Dynamo, Solibri, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection processes.
Familiarity with German construction practices and standards is beneficial.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in Frankfurt full-time; hybrid may be possible depending on project stageBefore You Apply
