This is a great opportunity for a BIM Coordinator to lead a team of BIM and structural engineers, manage complex project integrations, and work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure seamless design execution. You will play a key role in modular construction projects, tank design, and the development of efficient, standardised BIM workflows.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing a team of BIM and structural engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and technical oversight
* Overseeing structural calculations and ensuring compliance with EN1090 and industry standards
* Maintaining and organising BIM files with strict version control and adherence to project protocols
* Coordinating modular construction workflows to optimise prefabrication and design efficiency
* Liaising with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and meet expectations
* Integrating electrical and mechanical systems into BIM models while ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Designing and modelling tanks within the BIM environment, factoring in structural and functional requirements
* Running clash detection, resolving design conflicts, and maintaining BIM execution standards
* Supporting standardisation initiatives, product development projects, and value engineering efforts to reduce costs
* Providing training and mentorship to team members on BIM tools and workflows
Requirements for the role:
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
* 3–5 years’ experience in BIM, ideally with team leadership responsibilities
* Proficiency with BIM platforms (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and SolidWorks
* Strong understanding of modular construction principles
* Familiarity with structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering concepts
* Proven ability to manage deadlines, track milestones, and optimise workflows
* Excellent communication, mentorship, and problem-solving skills
