O'Neill & Brennan are recruiting on behalf of a well respected European contractor that complete projects across a range of sectors including data centres, life science and critical logistics projects.They are currently seeking an experience BIM Lead/Manager to join their team. The role will involve working alongside commercial staff, contracts managers,clients, design teams and Project Directors.
Role Overview:
The company are looking for a detail-oriented BIM professional to support the BIM Manager in delivering high-quality project outcomes. You’ll play a key role in coordinating BIM processes across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting delivery teams throughout the project life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and uphold BIM strategies, standards, and workflows to maintain consistency and efficiency across projects.
Aggregate and manage digital models submitted by various project teams, conducting clash detection, data validation, and model quality assessments.
Communicate findings to design and construction leads, ensuring that issues are promptly addressed by relevant teams.
Support the delivery of coordinated project outputs that align with client expectations.
Lead coordination meetings involving all contractors and design stakeholders.
Collaborate with both internal and external design and construction disciplines.
Monitor the progress of MEP and associated building services works delivered by subcontractors.
Mentor and guide BIM technicians to ensure alignment with project standards.
Liaise with subcontractors and design consultants to establish and maintain project goals.
Contribute to continuous BIM capability development within the organisation.
Candidate Requirements:
Holds a Level 7/8 qualification in Building Information Modelling or a related field such as Engineering or Building Services.
Strong command of BIM tools including Revit and Navisworks.
Demonstrable experience (4+ years) in an engineering consultancy or contractor environment; experience with data centre projects is a plus.
Familiar with BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident working with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
Well-versed in BIM workflows, data management practices, and project coordination.
Thorough understanding of construction methodology and project sequencing.
Able to remain composed and adaptable under pressure.
