Job Description
Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is currently seeking a BIM Technician on a contract basis to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the infrastructure team with the implementation of BIM standards and protocols
Developing and maintaining 3D models using Civil3D software
Collaborating with engineers and designers to produce high-quality BIM models and drawings
Assisting in the preparation and management of project documentation
Monitoring and ensuring the accuracy of BIM data throughout project lifecycles
Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure multidisciplinary integration within BIM processes
Providing technical support and training to team members on BIM-related tasks
Ensuring all BIM deliverables comply with both client requirements and industry standards
Job Requirements:
Experience in the highways or infrastructure sector
Proficiency in Civil3D software and BIM methodologies
Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols
Excellent technical skills in 3D modelling and drawing production
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Relevant technical degree or equivalent qualification
