Your responsibilities as a Biology ECT will include:

Delivering inspiring Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential support in KS5

Encouraging students to engage in practical and investigative work

Participating in collaborative planning with the science team

Using a variety of formative and summative assessments to track progress

Taking part in extra-curricular activities such as Science Club and STEM trips

Building professional relationships with colleagues, students, and parents

Engaging fully with the school’s ECT programme and CPD provision
Ideal candidates for this Biology ECT role will:

Be completing their ITT in 2025 with a Biology or Life Sciences degree
