An ambitious and well-regarded secondary school in Bournemouth is looking to appoint a Biology Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their thriving Science department from September 2025. This full-time, permanent position offers the ideal environment for an enthusiastic newly qualified teacher to develop professionally within a supportive and collaborative team.

Biology Department

Your Role

Lead extracurricular activities such as science clubs or fieldwork opportunities to enhance learning outside the classroom. Participate fully in the school’s ECT mentoring and development programme.
Ideal Candidate
A Biology degree with QTS or eligibility to qualify by July 2025. You will have excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for biology education. Strong classroom management and a collaborative approach are essential to thrive in this role.
