Biology Teacher

A well-regarded secondary school is looking for a Biology Teacher to join the science department as soon as possible on a long-term basis. This is a great opportunity for either an ECT looking to start their career or an experienced teacher seeking a supportive and well-structured department.

You'll be joining a collaborative science team with strong leadership and a focus on engaging, practical learning that helps students develop confidence in science.

The Role

Teach Biology across Key Stages 3-5

Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Support student progress, exam preparation, and scientific literacy

Contribute to the wider science department and collaborative planning

Maintain strong classroom behaviour and an inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS or is an ECT

Strong subject knowledge in Biology

Passionate about helping students understand and enjoy science

Confident classroom management and ability to differentiate learning

Committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
