The role
As a Biology Teacher you will be responsible for:
• Planning and teaching high-quality Biology lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Inspiring students to develop a love of science and enquiry-based learning
• Using practical work and experiments to reinforce understanding
• Assessing and tracking student progress to support achievement
• Participating in faculty meetings, CPD, and wider school life
This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT who is confident in delivering A-Level content and committed to high standards in science education.
The ideal biology teacher will have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology
• Experience teaching up to A-Level Biology
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A collaborative and positive approach to teaching and learning
• The right to work in the UK
