* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Biology.
* Proven experience teaching Science, particularly Biology, effectively at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a Science department, or a clear readiness for such a step.
* A deep and current understanding of the Biology curriculum, excellent laboratory skills, and a commitment to innovative teaching methods.
* Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire scientific curiosity.
