Role Overview
You will deliver engaging Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level students if desired. Your role will also include delivering practical investigations, developing students’ understanding of complex biological concepts, and encouraging a passion for life sciences.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons that motivate and challenge students.

Support the development of students’ practical skills through lab work and field studies.

Contribute to the Science department’s enrichment activities, including STEM clubs and science fairs.

Assess and track student progress to inform teaching strategies and interventions.

Collaborate with colleagues to continually develop the curriculum and share best practices.
Candidate Profile
*
Degree in Biology or related discipline with QTS.
*
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Biology, A-Level teaching advantageous.
*
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Biology.
*
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
*
Passionate about inspiring young scientists and committed to inclusive education.
