We are looking for a Biology Teacher to work within an academically successful and highly regarded secondary school based in Oxford.

An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Oxford is looking to appoint a Biology Teacher from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, and the successful candidate will be expected to teach Biology across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level for those with the relevant experience.
The Biology department is part of a thriving Science faculty that achieves consistently high results year after year. The school places a strong emphasis on STEM learning, and there is excellent support in the form of well-equipped laboratories, digital resources, and specialist Science technicians.
This role would suit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher who is passionate about the subject and excited about delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that inspire students to explore the living world. Teachers at the school are well supported with personalised CPD, dedicated planning time, and opportunities to get involved with national Science competitions, eco clubs, and collaborative projects with local universities.
Experience and Qualifications
• Biology Teacher qualified to teach KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• QTS required (PGCE or equivalent)
• Degree in Biology or a related Science discipline
• Demonstrated passion for Science education and inquiry-led learning
• Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
• Legal right to work in the UK
