Job Description
Quantum Scholars are currently working with an Outstanding secondary school in Surrey who are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Biology Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-achieving school with excellent support, strong values, and a vibrant learning environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students aged 11-16 in achieving their full potential. You'll join a committed science department known for its collaborative ethos and outstanding outcomes.
What We're Looking For
A teacher already based in the UK
Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
Someone passionate, enthusiastic, and confident working with 11-16-year-old students
A candidate who holds QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
Right to Work in the UK is essential
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons in line with the curriculum
Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful feedback
Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and enrichment activities
Uphold the school's values, behaviour expectations, and safeguarding policies
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
UK-based with Right to Work
Experience teaching Biology at secondary level
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to ongoing professional development
