Job Description
Walker Cole International is hiring a Bioprocess Lead to join an innovative biopharma company working at the forefront of advanced viral vector therapies. This is a hands-on role, with the opportunity to fast track into a leadership/management position.
In this role, you’ll:

Lead the development of viral vector processes for advanced gene and cell therapies.
*
Optimise upstream and downstream workflows, including bioreactor operations, process conditions, and purification strategies.
*
Execute hands-on lab work, analyse data, and troubleshoot complex processes.
*
Support development and scaling of methods, ensuring processes are robust and reproducible.
*
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain scientific rigour and compliance with quality and safety standards.
*
Monitor process performance, identify potential risks, and provide scientific input to improve efficiency and consistency.
You’ll need:
*
Strong experience in viral vector development.
*
Hands-on expertise in bioprocess development for upstream and downstream workflows.
*
Experience with analytical techniques relevant to viral vector characterisation.
*
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to work independently in a highly confidential, research-driven environment.
