The business is expanding and is building the team, so we are looking for an experienced Blender to be part of a culture that is supportive yet focused.
* Reworking parts, re shaping profiles and radius and bring profiles back to contour after welding
* Following operation instructions on either operations and/or rework card
* Measuring of components using digital Vernier Callipers
* Small to large quantity batches Polishing flats, faces, radius, convex and concave surfaces; de-burring
* Blending parts to tight limits and achieving surface finish
* Use of hand tools including pencil grinders, sanders, belts, abrasive wheels, burrs, and digital callipers
Key skills utilised in the role,
* Blending high strength aerospace materials
* Maintaining fine tolerances to customer drawing
* Achieving surface texture limits
Operational hours,
07:00 to 15:30 – Monday to Thursday
07:00 to 14:00 - Friday
Regular overtime is available and is paid at £19.50 per hourBefore You Apply
