Job Description

Job Title: BMS Commissioning Engineer (Contract - 6 Months) Location: Central Belt, Scotland (Multiple Sites) Start Date: ASAP Day Rate: £330-£370 (DOE) Role Summary: We're hiring a BMS Commissioning Engineer for a 6-month contract covering multiple sites across the Central Belt. You'll be responsible for commissioning and servicing Trend and Siemens BMS systems. The role involves fault-finding, system testing, and ensuring the BMS performs to spec. This is a site-based role. You'll need to be self-sufficient, reliable, and experienced with BMS commissioning in live environments. We'll consider candidates from outside the area if you're happy to travel - rates will reflect that. Key Responsibilities: Commissioning of Trend and Siemens BMS systems Carrying out servicing, fault-finding, and functional testing Making minor software adjustments and setpoint tuning Reporting commissioning progress and issues clearly Working directly with contractors, site teams, and clients Ensuring systems operate in line with design and performance expectations Requirements: Hands-on experience with Trend and/or Siemens BMS commissioning Confident working independently across multiple sites Strong understanding of HVAC control principles Ability to read and interpret control schematics and I/O schedules CSCS or ECS card (preferred) Driving licence and own transport Eligible to work in the UK Available to start immediately or within short notice Contract Details: Length: 6 months Rate: £330-£370/day (depending on experience and travel) Location: Central Belt - on-site role, with travel between locations Start: ASAP
