Avolon M&E are recruiting for a BMS Engineer in London.
Location: London
Sector: Building Services
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity:
Our client are a family‑owned building services contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering turnkey M&E design, installation, and maintenance solutions- especially plant replacement and infrastructure upgrades - in London and beyond.
They are seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled BMS professional looking to join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of intelligent building systems and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, commission, and maintain BMS systems, primarily Trend, Tridium, and Distech.
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial work on existing building management systems.
* Configure controllers, user interfaces, and graphics to meet client requirements.
* Support the delivery of energy optimisation and system upgrade projects.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Provide technical input and documentation for handover, testing, and commissioning phases.
* Participate in on-call support rota where required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with BMS systems – ideally Trend, Tridium, Distech or similar platforms.
* Strong background in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering.
* Experience in installation, commissioning, and service support.
* Good understanding of HVAC plant and integration with BMS systems.
* Comfortable working independently on-site and managing your own workload.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across London.
Desirable:
* CSCS/ECS Card
* Manufacturer certifications (Trend, Tridium Niagara 4, etc.)
* Knowledge of energy-efficient control strategies and analytics platformsBefore You Apply
