Job Description
An established building controls and energy management company is seeking a self-sufficient BMS Panel Builder to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete build and testing of BMS control panels, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
Build BMS control panels from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Wire and assemble components including relays, contactors, transformers, and PLCs.
Perform functional testing and fault-finding on completed panels.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards.
Maintain accurate build and test documentation.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Proven experience in building and wiring electrical or BMS control panels.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong understanding of electrical components and control systems.
Experience in panel testing and fault diagnosis.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Familiarity with BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Siemens) is advantageousBefore You Apply
