A leading provider in the building controls sector is seeking a skilled and experienced BMS Project Engineer to join their dynamic projects team, covering Wales and the South West. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work across a range of small to medium-scale Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) projects, combining both remote and on-site responsibilities.

Responsibilities
* Full project lifecycle management for small to mid-scale BEMS installations
* Site surveying and solution design
* Engineering and commissioning of building management systems (time permitting)
* Health and safety compliance and documentation, including conducting site audits
* Labour planning in coordination with internal administration teams
* Financial tracking and budget control across assigned projects
* Communication with clients and third-party contractors
* Supervision of sub-contractors where necessary
* Completion of standard BMS engineering tasks when project workload allows
* Continuous collaboration with internal teams to maintain project timelines
Qualifications & Experience
* Practical experience working with Schneider EcoStruxure or Trend BMS platforms
* Exposure to Tridium, Siemens, or other open protocol systems (desirable)
* Background in building controls or BEMS engineering
* Understanding of mechanical plant operations
* Experience within critical environments such as data centres is advantageous
* Ability to create and interpret control strategy documentation
* Effective communicator, able to explain technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* UK driving licence and ability to travel to project locations across the region
* CSCS or equivalent safety certification
* Competent with general IT systems and software
