A leading force in the building energy management sector is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced BMS Project Manager to play a critical role within their Aviation team, based at one of the UK’s most iconic and complex infrastructure sites.
This position is designed for a technically adept individual who excels in delivering large-scale BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems) projects in high-pressure, safety-critical environments.
Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing site-based team, this is a role that sits at the intersection of innovation, operational excellence, and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of BEMS projects within a live aviation environment
* Plan and oversee project schedules, budgets, resourcing, and procurement
* Act as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Ensure project compliance with all health & safety and airport operational standards
* Supervise and support the commissioning of building control systems
* Conduct site inspections and manage quality assurance processes
* Oversee documentation, variation control, and cost management
* Identify upselling or optimisation opportunities within existing projects
* Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to cross-team collaboration
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience managing BEMS or building controls projects
* Strong technical knowledge of systems such as Trend, Tridium, or similar platforms
* Proven leadership in complex project environments with multiple stakeholders
* Effective communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in aviation or other critical infrastructure settings is advantageous
* Strong commercial acumen with an ability to identify and manage project risks
* Based within a commutable distance of Heathrow (within 40 miles)
* Willingness to undergo enhanced background checks as part of airport compliance
