Synergy Mission Control Ltd is seeking a technically astute and delivery-focused BMS Project Manager to join our expanding data centre portfolio. With our head office in Bristol and projects across the UK this offers either a hybrid or remote set up. This role offers long-term projects with career growth, leadership opportunities, and the chance to shape smart building system deployments across high-performance environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of BMS projects—from design review and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and client handover.
System Coordination: Oversee integration of BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, etc.) with HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems. Ensure control strategies align with operational goals and energy efficiency targets.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors. Drive collaboration and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Technical Oversight: Validate system architecture, review control panel layouts, and ensure compliance with specifications and commissioning standards (ASHRAE L1–L5).
Risk & Issue Resolution: Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions with minimal disruption.
Documentation & Handover: Ensure all technical documentation, commissioning records, and O&M manuals are complete and client-ready.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience managing BMS projects in commercial or mission-critical environments
* Strong understanding of BMS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks) and platforms (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, etc.)
* Ability to interpret control schematics, network diagrams, and technical documentation
* Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
* A proactive mindset with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction
* Right to work in the UK
* Data centre experience is a plus, but not essential
