Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in Trend or Tridium systems to work on exciting projects, ensuring building management systems are delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission BMS hardware, controllers, and field devices
Load and configure control programs into BMS controllers
Carry out point-to-point checks to verify correct operation of devices
Test control sequences, alarms, and integrations
Troubleshoot wiring, software, and communication issues
Adjust control settings for improved performance and efficiency
Complete commissioning and testing documentation accurately
Provide training to building operators to ensure effective system use
Skills & Experience Required
Strong knowledge of Trend or Tridium BMS systems
Experience producing and managing a programme of works
Valid CSCS/ECS site card
Knowledge of contracts/sub-contracts (beneficial but not essential)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a positive team attitude
