Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Builder / Coach Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and customising bodies for various vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Duties
* Construct and assemble vehicle bodies according to specifications using hand tools and power tools
* Repair and modify existing vehicle structures to meet client requirements
* Conduct measurements, alignments, and fittings to ensure precise assembly
* Perform heavy lifting of materials and components safely and efficiently
* Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during the build process
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to adhere to health and safety standards
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
* Inspect completed work for defects or imperfections before final delivery
Experience
* Proven experience in body building or coach building is preferred
* Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle structures and systems
* Hands-on experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers
* Proficiency with power tools including drills, grinders, and saws
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
* Familiarity with safety procedures related to working with heavy equipment and materials
