Body Repair Technician
Newark, Full Time, Permanent
Salary Dependent on Experience
Our long-established automotive Client in Newark is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role
The key duties performed by the Body Repair Technician will include, but not be limited to:
* Replacing damaged bodywork components
* Refitting and repairing GRP and aluminium panels
* Rebuilding wooden cabinets and internal structures
* Carrying out repairs
* Working to manufacturer and industry standards
* Diagnosing issues
The Candidate
The successful Body Repair Technician will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience in a Bodyshop environment within the automotive industry
* Commercial vehicle bodywork
* Motorhome or caravan repair / manufacturing knowledge or experience
* Understanding of materials including GRP, aluminium and timber
* Proficiency in hand and power tools
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Ideally, you will possess relevant NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications.
