Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Bodyshop Controller to join our Client, based in Edinburgh.
Our Client is offering the successful Bodyshop Controller On Target Earnings of £55,000.
The successful employee will be working a 45 hour week – Monday-Friday to be exact.

Based in the Edinburgh region
Basic salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
Additional performance bonus
No scheduled weekend work.
Optional weekend overtime available Specification:
Have experience as a Bodyshop Controller within an Accident Repair Centre
Have a strong knowledge of the workings of an Automotive Bodyshop
Leadership Qualities and Supervisory Skills
An up-to-date technical knowledge and skills
Advisable to withhold an ATA accreditation.
Strong Communication skills with the ability to understand customer expectations
Full UK Driving Licence
Confident using repair methods and estimates from Thatcham or manufacturer portals Responsibilities:
Liaise with Centre Manager and productive team to ensure best process.
Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the team.
Complying with Health & Safety procedures.
Allocating work across for Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians & MET Technicians.
Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
To calculate and manage the effective use of the bodyshop.
Plan the distribution of work among the team utilising available skills mix.
Monitor the quality of work carried out on accident damaged vehicles and ensure work is carried out to a high standard.
