Job Title: Bodyshop Manager – Accident Repair Bodyshop
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: Up to £55,000 + bonus - OTE £65k
Full Time and Permanent – Monday to Friday – no weekends!

Our client has a turnover of approximately 250 million and employs over 700 members of staff across several dealerships and dedicated service centres.
Our client’s performance has been continuing to grow as well as being recognised for the quality of service provided to their customers.
As such they require a self-motivated individual, who is able to use their own initiative to work alongside our existing team in their busy service department.
You will be responsible for managing our clients team at their Bury St Edmunds site, that will carry
out repair work for a range of vehicles. You will be responsible for managing an on-site team of experts, including paint sprayers, panel beaters, MET technicians, estimators and all administrative staff. You will understand the business needs, the accounts, reports and KPI's, effectively manage site resources and costs to optimise capability and profitability and actively and efficiently manage work provider and supplier relationships.
You will deal with any customer issues, and ensure time is prioritised for interviewing, to ensure open vacancies are filled swiftly.
About You
You will ideally have prior experience as a Bodyshop Site Manager, with expertise in health and safety protocols, ensuring these measures are consistently adhered to. You will be responsible for planning your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agree timescales; working skillfully and safely under pressure, and carrying out work in accordance with manufacturers specification.
You will be able to lead and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach and continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind. Additionally, you will have the ability to motivate your team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly site targets.
Our client will also be happy to consider a Senior VDA or a Bodyshop Workshop Controller who are looking to progress to Bodyshop Manager.
Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
