Duties of a paint sprayer

  * Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.

  * Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

  * Mix paints and colours to achieve desired shades and textures.

  * Use hand tools and power tools to facilitate surface preparation and finishing tasks.

  * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations.

  * Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project.

  * Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary to support project requirements.

Requirements of a paint sprayer

  * Proven experience in painting or decorating roles is preferred.

  * Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment and troubleshooting issues.

  * Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and sanders.
