SMART Repair Technician / Alloy Wheel Technician – Bodyshop
Stansted
£31,500 basic + OTE £34,000–£35,000 (Negotiable)
Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced SMART Repair Technician / Alloy Wheel Technician to join a busy and successful motor trade bodyshop in Stansted.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality cosmetic repairs, alloy wheel refurbishments, and paintwork on a range of vehicles — ensuring every job meets manufacturer and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Inspect vehicles and identify repair requirements
* Carry out alloy wheel refurbishments to a high standard
* Complete SMART and cosmetic paint repairs, minor dent removal, and interior repairs
* Accurately record all work completed and adhere to timeframes
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and respect throughout the process
Your Background & Skills
* Minimum 1 year of experience in SMART repairs or alloy wheel refurbishment
* Skilled in cosmetic paint, minor dent, and interior repair techniques
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* Positive attitude, good team player, and reliable work ethic
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence essential
